Job Description

ISC has started the recruitment process for the post of Supervisor/Policy and Program Officer/Team Leader/Project Leader for various locations in Canada. The salary ranges from $71,599 to $77,368. Persons residing in Canada, Canadian citizens and permanent residents abroad can apply for this post. Preference will be given to the veterans first and then to the Canadian citizens.

Educational requirement:

You should have a secondary school diploma or any other equivalent alternative. The alternative involves a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test.

Experience required:

  1. You should have experience in the delivery of various health benefit programs.
  2. You should have experience in maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. You must be experienced in providing recommendations to management on policy, program or client-service related issues.

Following experiences may be required at a later stage:

  1. Experience of working with various Health Benefits Programs.
  2. Experience of working with Jordan’s Child First Initiative.
  3. Experience of working in a call center.
  4. Front line customer service experience.
  5. Experience in human resource management.
  6. Experience of working with organizations.

Language required:

  1. English essential
  2. French essential
  3. Bilingual imperative

Skills required:

  1. Oral as well as written communication skills
  2. Showing initiative
  3. Being action oriented person
  4. Customer servicing skills
  5. Team working skills
  6. Planning skills

Operational requirement:

  1. Some posts require a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
  2. Some posts require your willingness to travel.
  3. Some posts require your willingness to work overtime or during irregular hours.
  4. You may be required to work during weekends as well.

Conditions for employment: You should obtain a valid reliability secret status clearance.
