DFO Hiring Field Supervisor Jobs

Education:

• The Candidate have to complete the course of the Fishery Officer Career Progression Program from the approved Canadian Institutes.
• Advanced Complete course at an accredited Law Enforcement Training Program.
• 4-year training programs in the Fishery Officer Career Progression Programs.

Experience:

• Experience as a peace officer in planning and conducting enforcement activities.
• Proficient in maintaining and developing their relationships with all types of internal and external stakeholders, including Indigenous, Federal and Provincial/Territorial Organizations.
• Expert in giving advice and recommendations to the management according to compliance priorities.

Skills and Competencies:

• Preference will be given to candidates who belong to employment equity groups, such as Indigenous peoples, women, visible minorities, and persons with disabilities.
• Proficient in a language such as French or English.
• Proper knowledge of aquatic ecosystems and conservation protection programs of Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• The ability to communicate effectively with the clients.
• Expert in making plans and thinking about how to implement them properly.
• Proficient in oral communication.
• Ability to work independently and to achieve goals.

Field Supervisor Jobs Salary

• $84,174 to $95,704
