Job Description

Fisheries and Oceans Canada -Canadian Coast Guard Atlantic Region is hiring for the positions of Twine hand/fishing Vessel Deckhand-Marine, especially in the locations of Shippegan, New Brunswick, and St John’s (Newfoundland and Labrador), and Dartmouth (Nova Scotia), provinces in Canada. The individuals who are permanent residents and settle abroad can easily apply for these job positions.

  • The essential qualification required by students is English, and the proficiency required for this job is a Bilingual Imperative test (B/B).
  • The candidates need the certification of Valid Marine Emergency Duties STCW for this job. Applicants who apply for this job need proficiency in survival craft and rescue boats, other than Fast Rescue Boats.

Experience e1748081157676 Experience:

  • Preference is given to applicants with extensive experience in the fishing industry. Applicants with knowledge of fishing and experience leading the deckhand department on a Coast Guard fishery vessel are given preference for these jobs.
