As a Training Officer, you will determine what training is needed, plan the curriculum, implement the program, and evaluate its success. You will also provide course feedback, help instructors and staff improve, and lead professional development seminars. Create and update curricula for specific groups using multiple learning methods:
- Organize and teach the program.
- lead and direct teachers.
- Talk to experts in the field and internal and external partners to make sure the training is accurate and effective.
- Research the current internal and external training programs, best practices, and trends to help Emergency Management & Community Safety (EMCS) meet its educational needs.
