The City of Thunder Bay gives preference to applicants who possess a certificate or diploma in truck and coach technology or a related discipline. In addition, a minimum of three to fewer than five years’ experience as a Truck and Coach Technician, with knowledge of diagnosing and repairing various truck and coach systems, is strongly preferred.
The Truck and Coach Technician position is typically open during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. However, overtime or weekend work may be required on occasion to accommodate the maintenance and repair requirements of the City’s fleet.
