CFIA Veterinarian Jobs Details

You need to perform several duties daily like:

1. You will be Monitoring and evaluating the latest trends pertaining to the health of animals, feed and national operations.
2. You will be preparing the content and training materials according to the latest trends and happenings in these fields.
3. You will be auditing various export programs on a national as well as international basis.
4. You will be supervising trainees and providing them proper guidance regarding their responsibilities and giving them feedback if required.
5. You will be supporting various written reports, correspondence and briefings and will be responsible for carrying out the assigned work.
6. You will be responding to several inquiries to maintain uniformity and consistency.
7. Moreover, your duties will involve conducting quality assurance, auditing in order to determine the compliance of various acts as well as regulations.
8. You will be supporting the policy development, regulation of various health related programs.
9. You will be providing analysis and recommendations to various program managers.

Educational requirement:

You must be a graduate in Veterinary medicine or you must be holding a certificate of qualification granted by the National Examining board of the CVMA.

Experience:

You should be experienced in either of the following areas like:

1. Food safety
2. Meat hygiene
3. Animal health
4. Veterinary drugs
5. Laboratory environment
6. General veterinary medicine

Occupational requirement:

You should be eligible to become a member of the Canadian veterinary association.

Language requirements:

You should possess Bilingual Imperative CBC/CBC, BBB/BBB, English Essential as well as French Essential.
