CFIA Multi Program Inspector Jobs Details:

The job requires you to perform several duties. Some of them are:

1. Conduct of ante mortem as well as post mortem inspection of animals.
2. Gathering samples for analysis in the laboratory.
3. Export certification of various food products.
4. Assessing several Preventive Control Programs.
5. Various response activities that  include control actions and administrative activities.

Educational requirement:

You need to complete post-secondary education in either of the following fields like:

Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition, Food science, Life science, Food technology, etc. In case you have done courses in other specializations, you must state the reason how your program is relevant to the food at CFIA.

Experience:

You must have experience working in or providing necessary guidance in animal healthcare. Moreover, you must have experience in interpreting legislation as well as various acts.
