Eligibility

  • Persons residing in Canada, and Canadian citizens and Permanent residents abroad

Language Assessment:

  • English Essential
  • Bilingual Imperative (BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC)

Educational Requirements:

  • You should have completed graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Nursing, Nursing Administration, Nursing Education, etc.
    Or
  • You should have completed certificate or diploma in Occupational Health Nursing from a recognized post-secondary institution

Occupational Certificate

  • You should be a registered nurse with the college of nurses in a province or territory of Canada.

Experience Required:

  • At least three years experience in the provision of occupational health services
  • You should be experienced in working in an immunization program

Asset Experience:

  • Experience in managing a program or health clinic
  • Experience in travel medicine
  • Experience in Occupational Health, Safety or Hygiene
  • Experience in the direct provision of immunizations
  • Experience in the direct provision of tuberculin skin tests
  • Experience in the direct provision of occupational audiometry
  • Experience in the direct provision of occupational spirometry
  • Experience in the direct provision of travel health services
