Management Forester Jobs Salary

The Management Forester program will provide selected candidates a competitive weekly salary ranging from $1,182.41 to $1,584.02. The weekly wage will be determined by qualifications and experience, acknowledging the knowledge and responsibility connected with forest resource management.

Ontario Government

Who can apply:

  • This competition will be utilized to fill only one of the two roles listed below for each district, with the priority being to fill an RPF-designated position. A non-designated individual may be chosen for a developmental assignment in order to achieve their designation.
  • You must hold a Registered Professional Forester (RPF) certification from the Ontario Professional Foresters Association or be able to transfer an out-of-province designation and be able to practice professional forestry without professional supervision.
  • You are in the process of becoming a Registered Professional Forester (RPF) and will be certified by the Ontario Professional Foresters Association in less than 18 months.
  • You are knowledgeable about forest management plans and methods, as well as legal duties.
  • You are familiar with the ideas and techniques of forest ecosystem management.
  • You are familiar with, and have worked with, Geographic Information System (GIS), Global Positioning System (GPS), and current technology.
