Language Instructor Jobs Salary
Candidates who do well will get a competitive salary between $69,581 and $85,612, depending on their skills and experience.
Who can apply:
- A bachelor’s degree from a college or university in education, linguistics, or a similar area, or a mix of education, training, and experience.
- Experience teaching English as a second language to adults in the Federal Public Service and applying the principles and practices of adult education to language training, both online and in person.
- Experience teaching the “Communicative English at Work Program” (CEWP) and using the online tools and materials of the Canada School of Public Service.
- Experience using a range of methods and approaches to teach a second language.
- Experience with the methods and factors used by the Public Service to test second language skills.
- Experience working with cloud-based Learning Management Systems (LMS), like D2L Brightspace, to successfully deliver and manage course content.
