You will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment to support the City’s infrastructure and maintenance projects as an Equipment Operator. The City of Brandon prefers individuals with a secondary (high) school diploma and at least 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a heavy-duty equipment operator. The Heavy-Duty Equipment Operator position is available during regular business hours, which are typically Monday through Friday. However, depending on operational needs and project deadlines, occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.
