RCMP Hiring Firearms Agent Jobs
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist in administering the Department of Firearms Act Canada, under the designation of legislative authority from the Chief Firearms Officer.
- To assist the people in firearms licences and authorizations, and to make decisions for others as the decision maker.
Skills and Competencies:
- To access the police and conduct interviews with a large number of people, including those from a broad spectrum such as firearms licensees, medical professionals, police, Crown, and others.
- To do a proper inspection of the firearms business and to shoot authentic images based on the inspection.
- Responding to inquiries from people according to the acts and regulations of the Canadian Firearms Program.
Education:
- Proper Completion of the diploma and degree course from the Canadian Firearms Safety. Candidates who have completed a diploma or degree from the Canadian Institute may be eligible for this course.
Experience:
- Assist clients in the client service environment
- Conduct thorough research on firearms departments in Canada, adhering to relevant rules and regulations.
