Candidates who have completed a diploma and a degree in Lifeboat Marine can only apply for these positions. The education must be completed from the recognized institute of Canada. A vast knowledge of handling and delivering equipment ashore is given preference for these job positions. Extra knowledge of testing safety equipment and systems, as well as the recovery of persons on board, is given the main priority at the time of selection.

Experience in maintaining the deck equipment machinery and having proper knowledge of how to repair the machines, engines, especially when doing the job in seamanship duties.

Provide proper assistance in maintenance, cleaning, carpentry, concreting, and other types of construction work.

With extensive knowledge in environmental response, icebreaking, hydrographic, and fisheries operations.
