EXPERIENCE	Experience in providing Social Work services to clients in mental health settings and/or correctional settings. Experience working independently with minimal clinical supervision. Experience working as part of an inter-disciplinary team(s).
KNOWLEDGE	Knowledge of theories and established best practices of professional Social Work. Knowledge of types of mental disorders and effective interventions for adults with mental disorders. Knowledge of Social Work Code of Ethics and Standards of Social Work Practice published by the Canadian Association of Social Workers and/or applicable provincial regulatory bodies. Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation with respect to the practice of social work. Knowledge of resources and community agencies which provide assistance to adults with mental disorders. Knowledge of mental health issues as they pertain to diverse populations such as Aboriginal and/or women offenders. Knowledge of the principles and usages of cognitive-behavioural therapies.
Various language requirements	English essential
ABILITIES	Ability to use of a variety of software including spreadsheets and databases (e.g., Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, or Excel). Ability to deliver training. Ability to deliver therapeutic group interventions.
