The person in this job will report to the Director of Finance and be responsible for:
Take care of accounts due and accounts receivable;
Check and handle bills, assign codes to payment requests and expense accounts;
Reconcile general ledgers and sub ledgers every month and enter diary entries;
Prepare different month-end, quarterly, end-of-year, and special reports;
Enter information about income, expenses, and suppliers into the financial system, confirm it, and make any necessary changes;
Compare the financial and operational processes and look for differences;
Make sure the banking system and the control files (PWGSC) match;
Make tax papers every month;
Provide customer service to both internal and external clients of Telefilm Canada and take part in strategic policy disclosures (hospitality, travel, buying).
